文化差异对托福写作的影响

　托福写作中，一定要注意思维的转化。很多同学在托福写作的时候没有注意到东西方人的语言差异，往往分数不理想。按照自己固有的思维去写作，把这种思维习惯带到新托福写作里去。
　　而在真正的托福写作备考中，东西方文化差异是大家要时刻注意的。由于英美人的思维方式很直接，他们更习惯于从general到specific，从 summarize到exemplify，从whole到respective。如果使用中文表达，我们更讲究前因后果。
　　比如我们会这样表达：足球运动员必须能不停地奔跑，有时得用头顶球，撞别人或被别人撞，必须忍受双脚和肌肉的疼痛，所以说，足球运动是一项难度大的运动。而如果用英文，则会这样说：Soccer is a difficult sport.A player must be able to run steadily without rest.Sometimes a player must hit the ball with his or her head.Players must be willing to bang into and be banged into by others.They must put up with aching feet and sore muscles。
　　还有个例子，这是个便条，因为母亲突然生病，周末你不能和汤姆去跳舞了，你找了舞跳得很好的时黛来代替你，并表示抱歉。 用英语写，就是：
　　July 6，2002
　　Dear Tom，
　　I am sorry to inform you that I won't be able to go to dance with you this weekend. My mother is suddenly taken il*** order not to disappoint you，I have asked Shi Dai to take my place.She is a better dancer，I think.My regrets。
