此枚袁大头钱币雕刻精美、边齿整齐，轮廓细腻，铸造工艺细致入微。钱币上列“民国三年”。“民国三年袁大头”银币背面中间为币值“壹圆”，周围环嘉禾纹饰。该钱币留存稀少，及其罕见，实属珍贵，具有极高的文化意义及收藏价值。钱币正面为袁世凯五分侧面像，上列"民国三年"六字，此样品币试铸时正面与背面图像有中轴偏移现象，两条嘉禾，左右交互，下系结带，中铸'壹圆'二字。此钱币又为是试铸币。此袁大头三年为当年袁大头发行之前制造少量样品币交各地方政府先行鉴赏及收藏之用。此样品币保存完整，品相完好，字样清晰，纹理精致美观，包浆醇厚，是市场上难得一见的精品，值得各藏友收藏。具有很高的艺术观赏价值和文物价值，也具有一定的保值和升值功能。目前民间留存的"袁大头"数量已经不算太多，而且试铸样品币属于难得一见的钱币精品，且收藏风险小，非常适合投资和收藏。Thiscollectionisathree-yearcopper-likecoinfromtheRepublicofChina.Itsweightis15.9ganditsdiameteris3.82cm.
